To get this out of the way, yes, this website is supposed to mimic the look of a journal. The navigation menu at the top emmulates a bookmark, and the navigation to the right are like colorful tabs to keep track of parts in writing. They almost work the same as they do in real life, keeping track of the important chapters.

There are many different colors that add to the sort of natual chaos of an actual journal. Instead of too much chaos, the colors are more aesthetically pleasing with a more familiar rainbow-like color scheme. And unlike an actual dream journal, it may be easier to read compared to sloppy handwriting from the drowziness and lack of eyesight. This is also why I chose the font "Averia Libre." It isn't quite like handwriting, but it's rounded and not as harsh as other fonts, while also being less kiddie.

I wish I could have done more with what I had envisioned, but it was a little ambitious for my experience. Along with some unforseen circumstances and events, I couldn't quite accomplish my original goals for this project. Rest assured, this was a fun experience that I can learn from and will improve on next time. And since I'll be having this domain for a little less than a year, I might as well continue adding to it later. So that's all for now.
